Internet Explorer 8 is undergoing closed Beta 2 right now and is scheduled for public release as early as August. Initial indication from Microsoft is the IE 8 will be released by end of year. Recent update has indicated that Microsoft is on track for release IE8 in November.
PREDICTION: IE 8 will be publicly released by end of November 2008.
