After nearly 14 years and over $13million, Axl Rose will finally release Chinese Democracy this year.  The twist will be to release it similar to Radiohead's In Rainbows, which took the music industry by surprise by offering the album via download (at a price the user determined).

This is a prediction that Axl Rose will follow Thom Yorke's lead in some way.  More specifically, this prediction will pay out at S$100 if Chinese Democracy is initially availbe for purchase online only (not pre-order, but actually available for download in its entirety).

And, since reports as recently as April suggest the only thing holding the album back at this point is haggling over money, this is a prediction that the album will be released some time this year.

I love GNR, but out of TIS's scope.

This might be applicable if we change the Suggestion to be more akin to how Radiohead released "Rainbows" digitally. Any ideas?

GNR rocks.

At best, it could be changed to "Chinese Democracy to be released online this year." Or, you could change it altogether by dropping the time clause, "Chinese Democracy to be released online first."

Good points, Shiv. I'll make the edits and possibly repost.

@ Garrick, how's that?
