According to some persistent rumors, Microsoft is preparing an external Blu-ray drive for use with the Xbox 360 console ( http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/multimedia/display/20081008073445_Microsoft... )
The prediction is that Microsoft will announce by January,12th. 2009 (end of CES 2009) the availability of an external Blu-ray drive for use with the Xbox 360 console. An official Press release must be available on Microsoft.com web site for a favorable judgment. Judgment can occur before the closing date if a PR is released by then.
