Hulu goes live by March 31

Update: The New York Times has reported Hulu's official launch will be Wednesday, March 12.  This has been reported by several other outlets today as well.  -- The Industry Standard

This is a prediction that Hulu, News Corp and NBC's online television platform, will go live by March 31. Currently, Hulu is in limited private beta. To especialy clear: this means that Hulu will enter into GA (general availability, and thus no longer in beta of any kind). A "public beta" label will not qualify as grounds for this prediction to be judged favorably.

EDITORS NOTE: The buzz here at SXSWi has it that this will happen much sooner than this submission originally predicted (i.e. June), though perhaps not until the end of March or early April. We have revised the prediction to match this more imminent timeline and approved it.
