@Yi-Wyn, Hitwise is known to not report the same metrics on a monthly basis. What happens if no similar metric is made after bet closes? Will there be an alternate used? According to Compete.com, Google Maps has already passed Mapquest in unique visitors/month as well as visitors/month metrics.
Comscore also reports higher traffic for Google Maps than Mapquest. We'll still use Hitwise. Though Hitwise may not report on a monthly basis, when it does report it'll show monthly results.
Done deal. Mapquest maintained lead until around April 10-11. Judgment is due.
Hitwise result
Judged. Google Maps has overtaken Mapquest, but after the date in the prediction, according to Hitwise.
