Judgment made on March 26, 2009: Google announced plans to lay off 200 employees in sales and marketing. This prediction is correct, which the community got right. - The Standard

On Feb. 12, Google announced it's shutting down its broadcast radio ad business and laying off up to 40 people. A month prior, Google said it was firing around 100 recruiters. This is Google's second announcement of layoffs for full-time employees this year.

Prediction: Google will announce layoffs of full-time employees by July 1, 2009.
