Judgment made on January 12, 2009: Prediction failed, which community guessed correctly. -- The Industry Standard

Original prediction: Pocket SILVIA, the mobile speech recognition technology by Cognitive Code, will appear in publicly available devices -- which could be a mobile phone, toy, or other consumer electronics gadget -- by the end of 2008, in line with the company's development plans. The criteria for this prediction coming true are announcements from either Cognitive Code or the device manufacturer on or before December 31, 2008. This prediction will close approximately one week before the judgement date, or when an announcement is made, whichever comes first.
