Sindya N. Bhanoo is a 2009 Kaiser Media Fellow, a distinction awarded to nine journalists annually. She writes about health technology for The Industry Standard and also contributes to The Washington Post's weekly health section. She has a Master's in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Bhanoo previously worked as a health reporter for The Baltimore Sun and as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
