Manager, peermusic Online
This position is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of peermusic Online and requires someone who is passionate about music and technology. Peermusic Online includes all of the web properties of peermusic, including the corporate site, company intranet site, and digital distribution site. The department also handles the administration of the company’s global email system.
You will manage the conceptual planning and the implementation of technical and design initiatives on all sites. In addition, you will manage the content management and production process for all information on the bi-lingual corporate website. You will also be responsible for processing the royalties of the digital distribution division, which will include reconciling royalty statements from distribution partners, managing the importing process of the royalty statement, and producing aggregated statements for our independent label partners.

Our client is a software, services and appliance company for personal digital content management. The company produces the first personal server which backs up data, gives remote access and ensures security in sharing documents, pictures, email over the internet for home and home office use. The company has just had a substantail infusion of cash and will rollout a major product release this quarter. We need to find them their QA Director!
The Director of Quality Assurance position is responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance team and process. This person will be responsible for the staffing of the Quality Assurance team and the testing of the products. He/she will drive the creation of test plans and the execution of the QA team against those plans. This person will be an integral member of the engineering management team. They will be the ultimate “gatekeeper� of when products go to market. They will work closely with the engineers and marketing to understand the features in the product and how they must be tested. Under their direction the QA team will inform the engineering team of their progress against the acceptance criteria and work with the engineering team to fix the problems that prevent the products from meeting those criteria.
Requirements
Experience with and demonstrable success in testing large projects, and helping to bringing them in on time. Candidate must have experience in managing the testing of projects that consist of both hardware and software components. Candidate must have the ability to communicate both verbally and written. Candidate must have the ability to set direction for the team and a mentoring ability to help the team attain its goals.
