The Industry Standard: Internet Events

Web 2.0, The Conference
October 5-7
Hotel Nikko
San Francisco, CA

In recent years, the Web has emerged as a platform in its own right, and the Web's leading businesses have gained extraordinary success by leveraging this development in their own business practices. While the first wave of the Web was closely tied to the browser, the second wave extends applications across the Web and enables a new generation of services and business opportunities.

Web 2.0 is a new conference with the theme of "The Web as Platform." Web 2.0 Conference focuses on emerging business and technology developments on the Web, particularly the leading figures and companies driving innovation in the Internet industry. The conference brings these leaders together in one arena to discuss and debate the most important issues and strategies driving the Internet economy.

Web 2.0 Conference will feature a lively cross section of one-on-one interviews, keynote-level talks, issue-driven panels, and short, high-impact presentations, all with ample time for audience participation and Q&A. The three-day program offers a combination of one day of optional workshops and two full days of plenary sessions.

The early lineup looks great: Jeff Bezos, Mark Cuban, John Doerr, Mitch Kapor, Larry Lessig, Mary Meeker, Dan Rosensweig and many more will be participating.
