Tech stocks rally in morning trading

Technology stocks were up sharply in Monday morning trading, as the global response to the credit crisis prompted investors to return to the market. The Dow was up more than 5% by 10:30, but the technology sector showed an even stronger spike of nearly 6%. Microsoft rallied 9%, Dell 8%, Apple 7%, and Google and Yahoo 6%. Technology news and advice publisher TechTarget, which last week saw a one-day drop of more than 20%, was up more than 13%.
