 <title>Apple apologies for MobileMe snafus</title>

&lt;p&gt;Apple sent out a note to all MobileMe/dotMac subscribers this morning, apologizing for the  &amp;quot;bumpy&amp;quot; transition from DotMac to MobileMe. &amp;quot;Unfortunately, it was a lot rockier than we had hoped.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Apple also apologized for the confusion around &amp;quot;push&amp;quot;. Apple had been saying that everything to do with MobileMe was &amp;quot;pushed&amp;quot; from device to device. Not quite: Like incoming email, changes made on the computer can take up to 15 minutes to sync with the &amp;quot;cloud&amp;quot; and other devices. Apple now promises to &amp;quot;stop using the word &#039;push&#039; until it is near instant on PCs and Macs, too.&amp;quot; Presumably, this means Apple is working on a real &amp;quot;push&amp;quot; solution for computers connected to MobileMe as well, rather than a scheduled syncing schedule.&lt;/p&gt;
