Schachter &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/06/19/it-gets-worse-for-yahoo-delicious-founder-leaving/&quot;&gt;told TechCrunch&#039;s Michael Arrington that&lt;/a&gt; the &amp;quot;recent news coming out&amp;quot; of the company encouraged his decision, and the final decision was made today.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He didn&#039;t share any future plans, other than saying he will join the &amp;quot;gloriously unemployed.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Schachter cited frustrations with the process of rolling out the new version of delicious as &amp;quot;playing a part&amp;quot; in his leaving.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He wrote in the comments on TechCrunch, &amp;quot;I was largely sidelined by the decisions of my management. So that was mostly the result rather than the cause, if that makes sense.&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Schachter &lt;a href=&quot;http://money.cnn.com/magazines/business2/business2_archive/2006/01/01/8368130/&quot;&gt;reportedly took $15 million&lt;/a&gt; from the $30 million sale of his company to Yahoo in 2005, so he has a bit of a cushion to rest on during his glorious unemployment.&lt;/p&gt;
