Five people who will keep Apple Inc. on track (with or without Steve Jobs)

After years of questions about Steve Jobs' health, and his admission this month that his "complex" medical condition will require a five-month leave of absence, it's time to look ahead at the future of the company.

Specifically, we must consider an Apple without Steve Jobs.

How will the company fare? No one knows for sure, but what is certain is that Jobs has surrounded himself with a core group of utterly capable and visionary people who have made Apple the technology leader it is today. In this special feature, you'll see profiles and videos of the five senior executives who will not only help Apple navigate the storm, but will also keep the company on the right track for future success -- with or without Steve Jobs at the helm.

I do not think anyone can do what Steve Jobs did but these are great people behind the company. I am sure their products and innovation will last the test of time.

God Bless Steve Jobs for al of the jobs so well done so far. And When he parts in Peace his Real Rewards
Will Be.

Being the smart guy Steve Jobs is he has surrounded himself with a strong team. I've held on to my AAPL stock though all of this news. I am keeping it because AAPL has a strong management team, not just a strong CEO. Tim Cook and I had some classes together at Auburn, he was smart then and he is even smarter now. I have no doubt he doing a great job in Steve Job's absence.

this is also nice thing for us,.,.,.,.,.

Wow. Since when did Steve Jobs become god-like?

Great site and very good stuff.
No doubt, Steve Jobs has built a very strong team of passionate people. It is a well oiled company now and capable of developing and delivering new products without Steve, but it will be very different branding without 'the king of modern marketing' on the front-end of promotions.
I (being an oncologist) understand about Steve Jobs' illness but also understand that Steve Jobs has come back again and again from difficult situations, since he was born. Steve's personal silence on the specifics of current status of his illness is what makes the situation most interesting. He has conveyed that it is a nutritional issue but is it related to any relapse of his cancer (pancreatic NET) or a long-term complication due to the surgery he has undergone for cancer? He seems to be such an outspoken person and I wonder why he would not come out and let everyone know more. His fans would understand! Good luck Steve.

I have recently watched a movie about how it all started at apple, pretty amazing story.

In my opinion now is the right time for the new start-ups to come and take advantage of today's technology, all they need is being creative, they have the weapon - INTERNET.

It's so easy to bring life to your ideas with the Internet, you do not even need to be tech savvy.
