Totally agree on Urbanspoon -- love the slot machine interface on that app. And it pointed me towards an awesome Oakland restaurant, Flora.
Not sure Shazam beats Pandora, however. I've had mixed results when I've tried both Shazam and its competitor, Midomi. I believe Pandora is the #1 iPhone app period. Works fantastically!
@ Garrick I agree with you about the Pandora app.
I also recomend that you check out the Storyz app, it's something like group MMS, and it works and looks great :)
For Pandora fans, I also highly recommend you check out the Slacker radio app. I use it a lot more than Pandora now. The sound quality is higher than Pandora, and I really like the play lists and channels.
