When Internet-savvy people want to correct a deluded friend or relative who forwarded the latest email rumor, they turn to Snopes.com for the real story. Now, according to Google Blogoscoped, those same "teach by linking" users have a new site to help with those pesky questions that anyone could answer with a simple Google search: "Let me google that for you."

The site provides a permalink users can send to those annoying questioners, which leads them back to the site, retypes the question in the search box, clicks the "search" button, then asks "Was that so hard?" before forwarding them on to the actual Google search. A bit rude perhaps, but it gets the point across.
