Medved agrees that the marketing campaign has been very Web savvy. It's close to the Lord of the Rings franchise in terms of its aggressive Internet outreach to fans -- Medved notes that in Fandango's survey results, 87% noted that they had seen the movie trailers online (see sample below) rather than on television, and that 92% indicated that the trailers had made them want to buy a ticket to the movie online. That is the type of ROI that a group of recently surveyed marketing executives would no doubt want to see in their own campaigns.
