YouTube has introduced new buttons at the bottom of videos that lets users click to buy the video’s music track or related game.

Right now, there are buttons to download and buy from Apple’s iTunes or Amazon.com. YouTube will soon introduce other merchant partners for other types of goods, such as films, TV shows, video games, books, concert tickets and other media-related products, the company said.

We first wrote about the possibility of YouTube using these affiliate links back in February.

It’s the latest in a series of moves by YouTube’s parent, Google to make money from the video site after it purchased YouTube for $1.65 billion. YouTube will make $200 million in revenue next year, according to Piper Jaffray Research, and it continues to cost a lot to maintain because of the bandwidth costs related to showing billion of videos a week.
