Uber.com has been brought back to life just days after posting a front-page announcement that investors had pulled out and the blogging "art project" was about to be shut down.
A message on the site posted on Monday evening said that feedback from concerned users of the service generated interest from several different companies. One of them, social networking and file-sharing site Sharenow.com, has apparently provided extra funding to keep Uber going, but it's unclear for how long. The message also urged Uber users to continue posting and to tell more friends about the service, as "the more activity we get, the better chance we have to keep this going."
