As the stock market plummeted today, Twitter community chatter was dominated by news and comments about the failed bailout. As the markets closed in New York, all of the top ten trends on Twitter's search engine were directly related to the market and bailout -- the top three keywords being ‘dow’, ‘congress’, and ‘#bailout.’
While pessimism about the economy reigns supreme, many tweets expressed an especially bleak outlook. ColumbiaJames' comment seems to sum up much of the despair.
