Today's punishment on Wall Street extended to the tech sector, with few exceptions. The NASDAQ Internet Index (QNET) dropped 3.39%, compared to 4.42% for the Dow. Certain technology stocks were especially hard-hit: Apple Inc. fell 5.76% and Research In Motion dropped 7%. However, Google managed to hold steady for much of the day, dropping just under 1%, while Napster jumped 86% on news of the Best Buy acquisition:
