Chemical and plastics maker Eastman Chemical Co. spent $270,000 in the second quarter lobbying on the farm bill and other issues, according to a recent disclosure report.
The Kingsport, Tenn.-based company also lobbied the federal government on bills involving carbon capture and storage, energy commodity market oversight and rail competition, according to the form filed July 21 with the House clerk's office.
