There's a new feature on Google News: "Blogs" operated by mainstream news organizations and new media are highlighted within results, via a link on the left side of the browser window. So, searching for "Apple News" and selecting the first block of 249 news articles shows 56 sources total, with eight blog results. Clicking on that link brings up some familiar names -- Wired Blogs, the Wall Street Journal's All Things D, and Silicon Alley Insider -- as well as more obscure sites that Google's algorithm considers "blogs" by news organizations. Personal blogs are not included in the results.
