The KnightKnetwork noticed that upstart TechCrunch product CrunchBase may be cutting into the audience of the go-to site for start-up profiles: KillerStartups. Google Trends data shows CrunchBase on the upswing and KillerStartups on a steep decline. Alexa shows some optimism but who's looking at Alexa for good data anymore?

no fair! I do all the legwork and you come up with a better title! Thanks for the link!
we used to post killerstartups content on centernetworks. while it was never a paid relationship, i looked at it as a way to share new startups with my audience. then gonzalo just stopped sending me the daily updates - i doubt it accounted for much but probably helped with some seo.
seo and techcrunch links is where crunchbase is getting their traffic from so maybe the two are related.
Hey Allen,
Didn't know you wanted to continue with our relationship, you should've said so!
Also for the article, David (from knightknetwork.com) and Cyndy (here at Thestandard.com) seem to have forgotten about Quantcast. Crunchbase and KillerStartups both directly measured, take a peek http://tinyurl.com/6xrvnv
P.S. Don't feel bad, Scoble also missed that when he reposted David's original post.
Thanks,
Picture This: KillerStartups is still a Killer, and somebody got it all wrong:
