Facebook is celebrating Michael Phelps's record run at the Beijing Olympics with a banner at the top of every U.S. user's News Feed. The notice, "Congratulations to Michael Phelps and all of the U.S. athletes", links to Phelps's Facebook fan page which currently counts more than 800,000 Facebook users as fans.
