Google's beta Insights for Search service, which was launched today with a full-court press in the mainstream media and blogs, does not guarantee results. Some terms don't work because the tool claims there's not enough volume (such as my search for "Yankees" and "Red Sox" in online communities in the U.S. in the last 30 days). Another search generated an error messages:
Of course, this is a beta service, and stutters are to be expected. Additionally, this was only a temporary hiccup; one minute later the same search worked just fine.
