Personally, I think Techcrunch credibility has just drop a notch or two. I suspect the "rise-from-the-death" Google/Digg deal rumor was a ploy to nudge Newscorp towards acquiring it (showing how a simple blog can trigger significant coverage) but smart Murdoch didn't take the bate. Sorry Mr. Arrington, you have just devalued Techcrunch with this trick (IMHO).
