Google pushes towards 70 percent of all U.S. searches; Yahoo, Microsoft push towards zero percent

The ascent continues. Google accounted for a ridiculous 69.17 percent of all U.S. search in June, according to new data from Hitwise. Surprised? Who could be surprised that Google grows and Microsoft shrinks.

It's just a huge pity that we never had this kind off choice in other areas that meant the world might never have bought anything at all from the hideous, ugly, greedy monster that is Microsoft...

Better late than never it looks like Apple and OSX will likely rescue us from the Windows horror story.


Yeah, well, it kinda makes sense. "Google it" has become a part of the vernacular. On the Intertubes, Yahoo is a noun, Google is a verb.

As in: "What Yahoo doesn't Google?"


At the risk of seeming unfair: shouldn't that be "...faring much worse..." and "...will help it fare better,..."?
