Still can't activate my iPhone. "due to technical problems" with reaching the iTunes store. Still excited that I finally got one!!!
I left the store without activating my iPhone. Back home, while I was plugged into my laptop trying to activate it, I received a series of text messages (3) from AT&T. I've got a working 3G phone, but can't connect to my mac to sync up yet :(
I can't activate mine either at the AT&T store or home. Does anyone have any word on when they'll have it together???
i now have 2 phones... my old samsung blackjack and my new iphone3g. both of them are now bricks. wake up APPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is ridiculous. this is the first MAC purchase i've ever made, and was excited to be "moving into the Mac world." i even explained to a few other folks waiting in line with me that i couldnt wait to activate my phone, and that a Mac PowerBook was next on my list. so much for that... looks like i'll be sticking with PC for years to come. i can't believe this fiasco is coming from a "technology leader"!!!
Hey Apple... YOU FAIL !
I was 2nd in line in Memphis, TN. After 30 minutes of trying to activate they gave up and sent us home. My old iPhone is brick now and the new one will not activate.
To be so smart, they sure are dumb. Any common lay person could have told you that the activation system they had in place would not work.
So...we wait.
I hope you really don't mean that you were going to buy a powerbook, cause Apple hasn't sold a powerbook for a while.
My iPhone 3G is sitting here hooked up to my PC but it's not working either. I am falling asleep after waiting all night to get one.
