Romance language and a Roman script (Latin alphabet) aren't the same thing. The Latin alphabet is still the most common script: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin_alphabet.

Latin is still the most common alphabet, also, many software programs still only support ASCII for several fundemental reasons.

For starters, its simple and small. You can only have 26 letter, thats easy to remember.....sanscrit is about 50+ characters....and chinese.....thousands of letters....some that sound similar.....

Such as move will in no doubt increase phishing as many letters sound alike and then millions of dialects...and screwing people over and such....and this will basically halt international trade...

If your a company with a roman name, you have a chance that a european or american invesor may come, look at your business and possible invest, because they were able to find your site.

If your web address is a clusterfuck wierd symbol....nobody will find that....ever...
