CellSpin adds Palm to its mobile blogging platform

To help move mobile blogging from a technorati sport to a mainstream activity, CellSpin Soft, Inc.(DEMO 08) Tuesday added support for the Palm OS smart phones to its free, mobile blogging software that lets people capture video, still images, audio,and text with mobile telephones and publish media to blogging, social networking, photo sharing, and auction Web sites simultaneously. The sites are MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Pownce, Blogger, YouTube, Picasa, Flickr, Live Journal, Live Spaces, and eBay.

In addition to Palm OS, CellSpin also supports the Symbian, Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0, and Blackberry operating systems. The software is now available on more than 300 mobile phone models worldwide.The San Jose company expects to add more Web sites and make more smart phones enabled with CellSpin later this year.

Bobby Gurvinder Singh, chief executive officer and co-founder of CellSpin, said "The affordable Palm Centro smartphone has become very popular, and now with CellSpin Palm OS application users can stay connected, blog and micro-blog on leading social networks with just one click.
