I've never had the opportunity to tender my resignation from any job I've worked at. At least, that's not what we called it. Usually it was just "yeah, this place sucks, I quit" or "so if I quit, you won't press charges?"
But then again, I never worked for a company on the skids as much as Yahoo. It should make things a little easier for you -- or at least give you a chuckle. Warning: naughty words are used.
My favorite line? "Furthermore, as I have watched management squander once-valuable properties such as my vested shares of Yahoo! stock, I have come to realize that management does not seem to fully understand how to run a ****ing taco truck, much less an actual, you know, $30 billion business."
Mmm... bitterness and apathy never smelled so good.
