Not only did AT&T drop the revenue sharing component of its deal with Apple, it has also dropped the prepaid GoPhone iPhone plan for the 3G iPhone.

With the original iPhone, purchasers who failed a credit check (whether because of bad credit or by entering a fake Social Security number like 999-99-9999) would qualify for special prepaid GoPhone plans. The plans are slightly more expensive than traditional postpaid plans, but for someone like myself who has poor credit because of past financial mistakes, it was a nice option -- in fact, it was the only way I could get an iPhone without paying a hefty deposit.

Now though, that's all going out the window. An AT&T spokesman tells us the iPhone "will only be available with a two-year contract." Current iPhone owners and other AT&T customers will have their two-year commitment restarted upon activation of a new 3G iPhone and current GoPhone users (like myself) are out of luck.

To put it mildly: that sucks.

well that sucks for me too but i figured out a way around that a few years back. i do think hackers will find a way around that eventually but i'm good.

Great, so with my crappy credit I am going to have to put a deposit down on a "more affordable" phone, thus making it MUCH LESS affordable. And if I miss a payment/ bill, whatever the post paid crap has, I'll be driving my crappy credit score further down the crapper. I'll stick with my first gen, 4GB, $400 original price, pre-paid plan thanks.

Interesting. I wonder what would happen if one took the SIM card from a current-gen iPhone that is on a pre-paid plan, and inserted it into a next-gen iPhone? Especially if said SIM card had originally belonged to a 3G pre-paid phone (as in, the SIM card says 3G right on it). I wonder if the iPhone would work, or if it would throw a fit. Very interesting indeed.

Also, any word on if they're going to be upping the cost of the data plan for those of use willing to stick with EDGE?

If this is true, it really sucks. I'm going to wait until I can buy a unit and then unlock it for use on T Mobile. Otherwise, no dice.

I am an early adopter go phone plan with the iPhone and I can unequivocally say to leave your SIM card in your working iPhone. I am currently on my 4th phone since last July and I can testify that the reactivation process/SIM transfer on the iPhone under the go phone plan is a multi-day headache. Although tech support at AT&T has come a long way and figured out all kinds of workarounds to make the activation work (last July I spent 6 long weeks porting a number from T-Mobile), I would leave things alone. Since it seems inevitable that these precious and fragile devices will break down and Apple will likely furnish a refurbished 3G model at that point, I'd start saving for the deposit. I am.

Boo hoo for those of you with poor credit who can't get a new iphone on gophone plan. If you didn'thave bad credit it wouldn't be an issue. This is part of the cost of you not making sure you keep a good credit rating.

I have near perfect credit, but there is no ATT service in my area! This is very unfair!

God apple, just sell it for $399 without a contract.

to glen who said, "Boo hoo for those of you with poor credit who can't get a new iphone on gophone plan. If you didn'thave bad credit it wouldn't be an issue. This is part of the cost of you not making sure you keep a good credit rating."

let's hope you never have a major medical issue or have a spouse out of work for an extended period of time due to illness that farks up your credit because you've lost the family's 2nd income.

not all credit challenged people wind up there because they want to be there.

not all credit challenged people wind up there because they want to be there.

True, but last time I checked the Constitution, the "right to an iPhone" is conspicuously absent. With my current credit rating, I can't get a 22 room mansion with servants, either.

The SIM card has the subscriber profile and if the subscriber is noted as a pre-paid subscriber, it will probably continue to do so even if that SIM card is inserted into the iPhone 3G. The question is where will you get an unlocked iPhone 3G?

There are processes within UMTS (EDGE or HSPA) for subscriber authetntication as well as equipment authentication. Equipment authentication is used to identify possible cloned or blacklisted (ie. stolen) hardwares. Subscriber authentication checks for rate plan, suspended acct (i.e. delinquent in payment, etc). If you pass both, then you're good to go.

The solution to your "problem" is simple: stop spending more than you can afford, and you won't have to worry about missing payments or further screwing your credit.

Seriously folks, thanks for all the lectures. If this were a credit repair blog, the advice would be great.

As it stands, I just want my pay as you go service to continue, the same service I had when migrating to the product. Apple is moving my .Mac account over to .me but continuing to support my .Mac email addresses. Apple customer experience should remain constant and seamless. My concern is, should my device break under warranty, I want another phone with the same service. I should not have to change plans.

I agree with alot of you here with the credit issue, not all people that have bad credit is due because they cannot control how they spend their money. I have pay as you go plan that works great for me but just like how (D) said above, what if something happen to my iphone and I need to replace it I cannot buy another without signing a 2yr contract, and what of this contract signing? Is apple stores going to do a credit check before you buy these iphones or they are going to have us just sign a piece of paper saying you agree to 2yrs? I would hate to stand in line when the apple stores start selling the new iphones because the wait as people get credit checks done will be crazy long.

I'm being serious here, so trolls need not reply.

I want to buy my daughter a new iPhone but I have long since satisfied my two year commitment and have a great plan that is not available any longer. Usually I just buy a phone and stick in my SM card.
Should I just buy a last generation iPhone and add a data plan for the phone, or should I try getting a second generation phone and switching SIM cards as I have in the past?

Please don't get me started on my opinion of the current state of the credit industry.

I would either wait and see what all these rules are going to be once release or like you said just buy an older gen iphone and not worry about it....I thought to myself would I use the GPS and will the 3g network benefit me because what I have now seems fine, most of the time im around a free wifi if I wanna download stuff fast, so the question is do I really need the new iphone or do I want it because I want to be apart of the new toy that comes out?

I just got off the phone with AT&T to check my credit to on the day I
buy my iPhone 3G there wouldn’t be any unexpected fees or charges,
well its turns out I’m going to need a $750 deposit in order to
activate the phone with a two year contact. The sales rep when ahead
and told me that I could also just go pre-paid. I stated that I
heard that AT&T wasn’t allowing you to activate the iPhone 3G with
a pre-paid account. She said that’s true but per her boss if and
only if you require a deposit to activate your line you may activate
a pre-paid line. Anybody out there have any clarity on this?

What if I already have ATT service which is about to expire in september, but i dont want the 3G service. do i HAVE to sign up for the 3G for $30 a month? i just think that it's too expensive.

That sucks for me, too, as I'm an iPhone user with a GoPhone plan. I enjoy the relative freedom of a prepaid account as I avoid any commitments that rely on credit checks as often as possible. I'm sure AT&T is secure enough, but I've had my debit card number stolen by so-called "secure" sources, and I think there's something to be said for a small degree of healthy paranoia, and I'm not a fan of people or corporations having that kind of leverage over me. (I'm pretty fed up with Apple anyway for the manner in which they insist their customers use their products the way APPLE wants them used.)

I'm happy with my iPhone, and any shortcomings I perceive might be cured by the v2.0 upgrade. More speed and battery life is nice, but I'm not starving for it (else I wouldn't have bought the thing in the first place!). If AT&T starts screwing with me because of my plan, or it becomes necessary to buy a 3G, I'll probably go elsewhere for a phone and a plan.

in the meantime, I plan on writing to AT&T protesting their decision to bar 3G phones with PrePaid accounts. Perhaps there will be a hack for it later, or some way around it - after all, recycling phone numbers on prepay accounts was supposed to be impossible, but a little digging uncovered a method of doing so.

I have the GoPhone plan for iPhone because I can't get a contract - I'm moving out of the country soon. As stated before, this isn't an issue about whether or not people can control their spending. The lack of GoPhone support for the 3G phone is a huge disappointment. Guess I'll wait to buy it until I move.

Crap, I knew there would gonna be something behind this amazingly affordable phone so here it is, you must be a post paid member with 2 year contract , that's so sucks, i was just gonna buy the iPhone it was so perfect and nice, but the post paid thing made it horribly, unaffordable, who would buy a new number to use for 2 fucking years just 2 get he iPhone, crap they suck, Steeve Jobs should have annoucned this one.
This is such a dissapointment...

Agreed with some other commenters, this isn't merely a bad-credit issue. For me, my credit is fine but I don't use a wireless phone every day - usually only on weekends or on vacation. I never even come close to using my monthly minutes. So even though it's more expensive per-minute, a pre-paid phone is cheaper overall for me. Too bad this flexibility is being removed (by AT&T or Apple)? The lack of a pre-paid option may be the one thing that keeps me from buying an iPhone this summer.

that sucks att messed with that

Add me to the "it's not a bad credit issue" club.

A prepaid account doesn't cost any ore for me than a contract, given my phone usage. It's silly, and a little dangerous, to sign a long-term contract where one is not needed. Besides, what if I want to make a change in my service? Not that I'd like getting a new number on a new carrier, but it's a small price to pay to NOT be stuck with a gorram contract for 2 years.

Unless AT&T changes this policy, I'll forego the 3G. It looks great, but if the only hardware upgrades relate to speed, battery life, and a GPS, I can live without it. I have no complaints about my iPhone, and the only improvements I'm really interested in will most likely be related to native apps on OS v2.0.

I personally think that it's no one's business on this board whether you have bad credit or not. I don't have bad credit but I think it's unfair to make snide remarks. If you don't have bad credit, be happy that no one ripped off your identity, a spouse or loved one didn't suddenly fall ill, or any other disaster didn't strike. Why does everyone have to be so cynical. It's easy to be an a**, and hard to be decent. Try it!!!!

As far as the iPhone goes, I am sure that AT&T will reactivate the prepaid option within two months of the phone being released, they initially want the business of the consumers who will sign up for 2 years that is how cellular phone companies make their money. (I know a district manager who has been working for AT&T for 5 years)

People be nice, stop treating people so badly, please.

AT&T AND APPLE NEEDS TO RETHINK THERE SALES STRATEGY. PREPAID IS A MUST. YOUR SUPPOSE TO TARGET ALL CUSTOMERS WITH GREAT AND NOT SO GREAT CUSTOMERS WITH CREDIT ISSUES. THIS TELLS ME ATT&T ISN'T IN THIS TO MAKE A GREATER PROFIT. AND APPLE WILL SHOOT THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT. BECAUSE WHAT THERE TRING TO ELIMINATE IS IPHONES THAT ARE JAIL-BROKEN. IF APPLE / AT&T IS GOING TO DO FROM WHAT I'M READING EVERYONE'S POST, I GUEST THE RICHER YOU GET THE DUMMER THEY ARE IN BUSINESS DECISIONS. PLUS IF YOU LOOK AT OUR ECONOMY THERE MORE PEOPLE WITH NOT-SO-GOOD CREDIT THAN GREAT CREDIT. BEING NUMBER ONE THATS BUSINESS.

ONE MORE THINK I NEED TO SAY APPLE NEEDED PRE-PAID CUSTOMERS BECAUSE IT WAS THE FIRST TIME THEY BROUGHT OUT A CELLPHONE. AND AT&T WOULD OF DROPED THEM IF SALES WERE NOT MET. NOW APPLE / ATT IS ON TOP OF THE WORLD THEY DON'T NEED PRE-PAID ANYMORE. FUNNY APPLE OFFERS PAYMENT PLANS FOR THERE LAPTOPS SOUNDS LIKE PREPAID TO ME, AND A SMART BUSINESS STRATEGY. I WANT SOMEONE FROM APPLE AND ATT TO READ THIS RETHINK WHAT YOUR DOING ITS GO TO HURT SALES. REMEMBER PEOPLE NEED PHONE COMPANY AND MORE IMPORTANT PHONE COMPANIES NEED PEOPLE EVEN MORE IF YOU PISS OFF PEOPLE THATS IT CHAPTER 11.

"That Sucks" is an understatement. I've already sent a letter to Apple (a nasty one at that) regarding this completely idiotic, unintelligent profit model. (For lack of a better term)

Now, as a web developer, I'm trying to come up with a way to make the biggest, nastiest waves possible. I'm thinking a website, dedicated to how much this blows.

Ideas include:

iPhone3GSucks.com
iPhone3GisAPooPooHead.com
AppleAndATTareWhores.com
AppleCustomerDissatisfactionPolicy.com
iPhone3GBlows.com

We'd need a lot of response on the site to make some waves. But it is a proven, documented fact that Apple takes their Customer Satisfaction extremely serious. Remember iPhone rebates after they were released?

I've been an Apple fiend for about 15 years, but I'm pretty angry with this whole thing.

glen - some people also have 'no credit' through no fault of their own e.g new residents with good incomes and smart finances. these individuals suffer the same problems.
besides most people in the US are over-extended and paying off credit is a good thing - if it can be done.

i care neither way but was irked by your comment.

I am a retail district manager for AT&T in north Florida. There is NO separate charge to access our 3G network. If you have a 3G phone with a 3G SIM (which you all have already...unless its white with a Cingular logo and 32k written on it) and you are in a 3G service area you will have access to AT&T broadband speeds.
However, the original iphone was classified as a smart phone as was the original Blackjack and had access to unlimited internet for 15 a month (20 for you cool apple people to just access EDGE, Blackjack owners got 3G for 15, which is hilarious to me). The new wonderful perfect iphone is now classified as a PDA which requires a 30 dollar internet package, meaning your old MEdia net packs WILL NOT WORK. Not to mention any unique SIM installed has to be registered with Apple.
Furthermore, we have plenty of phones to offer, most of them are already 3G way before the release of this wonderful new iphone, and will give you a fast and rich online experience with a basic net package that you already have.
My main question is why do you dorks bother? Apple is all about proprietary BS that is compatible with just about nothing. The iphone is as fragile as an egg, has horrible call quality every time before it eventually drops the call, and does absolutely nothing more than any of our other phones. I carry a Tilt, it would blow your apple minds what I can do with it. I observe live camera footage from all my stores, it can be a WiFi router piggybacking ten laptops while camping, I text with an actual keyboard, and most recently I found a hack that allows Visual voice mail.
In conclusion, if you are a doucebag and you want other doucebags to wave at and be friends with, go get yourself the new iphone. If you actually have a job to do, or a life to live.....get ANY other phone.

Rick: Have you actually used the iPhone outside of your store for longer than a week or two? It sounds to me like your just jealous of people who can afford iPhones and aren't retail managers in north Florida. It sounds to me like your trying to sound cool, being able to "piggyback ten laptops while camping". First of all, who takes ten laptops camping? I'm a pretty hardcore geek and I don't even take a computer when I'm camping. Why don't you tell me about all those things you can do that will "blow my apple mind"? While your at it, why don't you check how well the memory on your Windows Mobile device holds up trying to browse the internet with a real browser (Picsel or Opera) while managing calls; a task that is quite easy on the iPhone and almost always causes problems on any Windows Mobile device I've ever used. There are some things that the iPhone has not been capable of yet but they will soon be solved as application development comes into full swing. You probably don't understand anything about that though since I'm sure you have no actual knowledge of the OS inside of your phone and the languages used (as opposed to most of us reading your comment who actually have experience with Objective C and the Cocoa Touch stack Apple has developed for their phone). Maybe you should get some real experience with technology and come back and report after you stop spewing your salesman bullshit.

So......no denying that you are a doucebag than huh? haha

No. I'm not denying that I'm a doucebag. Mainly because I don't know what the hell a "doucebag" is. Maybe a douche bag but clearly that's not what you mean since you've misspelled it 3 times. Maybe you should use some of those l33t skills you have with your phone to figure out what the hell spell check is. Or maybe learn to spell. Once you fix your spelling problems why don't you address my questions about exactly what is so much better about your beloved Tilt and show us all how much you truly know about the phones.

Oh, you must have loved to see that red dotted line under doucebag when you typed it in, haha. Good for you ifag. From now on I will make every attempt to remember that what you are is in fact spelled: douche bag.....thanks for the correction.
On to your question, why is a Windows based phone better than an iphone?

1. Thousands of applications and hacks are available for any hardware that runs Windows OS. It boggles my mind that a self declared geek that you are, would limit his scope to a product made for a niche market of artists and fags.

2. Speed. Most of you still have the first iphone which boasts GPRS speeds that the original, now four years old Motorola V3 always had. Four years old my friend. I know you apple lovers would never drive a four year old car, yet so damn proud of a phone with technology that old. For those few of you "lucky" enough to find the Holy Grail 3G iphone- Congrats, its still a half generation behind the HTC Tilt which runs off HSPDA.

3. The iphone is inferior. I don't even mean the whole stupid thing that you hold in your hand. I am talking about the FM radio inside that sends and receives voice to and from the nearest cell tower. The call quality and clarity is horrible. Your actual telephone conversations are a garbled mess that for some reason you brainwashed idiots are willing to forgive. Isn't that the foundation of a good cell phone? Making telephone calls that are intelligible.

4. This point isn't related to phones at all, but yet the snotty better than everyone else attitude that you apple folks have adopted. This forum started out as a whining session about how your new precious iphone cant be used without contract commitment. Yet you accused me of being "jealous of people that can afford an iphone". Believe me when I say that I have no reason to be jealous of anyone submitting comments or reading comments here. I can use whatever phone I choose at anytime and it doesn't cost me a penny to do so. The only reason I landed on this page last night is because I searched Google for any information regarding AT&T selling its pre-paid subscribers to a third party.
Which happens to be the big rumor lately. Maybe thats why your new Holy Grail shit phone can't be part of the pre-pay network.

5. Apple wouldn't even be around anymore if ole Billy Gates hadn't saved it.

Cat got your tongue Brandon? I thought iFags would at least have some spirit to argue.

Hiii..... So first of all Brandon you are apparently not as smart as you make yourself out to be. You act like the Iphone cost so much I spend more on a purse than you did on your precious little phone. The Tilt actually cost more than your precious little iphone also. What amazes me is the fact the Apple charged you dumb asses full price for the original Iphone and still made you sign 2 year agreements with At&t, whereas all the rest of the phones that At&t offers, are discounted quite a bit when you sign an agreement furthermore as I person that is not a douche bag and has enough money to buy just about whatever I want I still would not ever be caught dead with an Iphone. Have fun losers sitting at home on a friday and saturday night playing with your awesome Iphone.

Why do you continue to resort to name calling and petty argument. I have yet to argue that the iPhone is not overpriced and is superior to other phones in call quality and sheer cell technology. I don't have any problem with these arguments. The problem I have is with your clear misunderstanding of the underlying software of the phone and the capabilities it has. I am not supporting Apple or being an "ifag" in anyway. I use Mac, Windows, and Linux on a regular basis and own computers produced by Apple, Sony, and myself. Here's the reason I defend the iPhone.

The iPhone has kick started the touch phone market. Think back to before the introduction to the phone and tell me if there was a single good touchscreen phone on the market. The answer is clearly no.

I have a serious problem with both your and AshleyO's (in defense of Ashley though, she didn't start the argument but rather joined in) comments because they are so antagonistic to iPhone owners. What do you have against iPhone owners. If I want to buy something I'll do it and you can just shut the fuck up regardless of whether you agree or not (I can guarantee that if you said these things to me or any other iPhone owner on the street I would knock you out).

We all have our own opinions and you clearly are focused on cellphone technology, call quality and high speed access. I, on the other hand, would rather have a phone on which I can develop advanced software and actually take advantage of the network without being hindered by the terrible Windows Mobile operating system (which you clearly haven't developed on).

You need to calm down and stop looking at every Apple product owner as a self obsessed fanboy. I understand that there are a lot of Apple fanboys who just buy a lot of shit and that Apple products have become hip items but this in no way should allow you to stereotype everyone who owns an Apple product (I'll be honest that I hate the majority of people who come in the Apple Store and a majority of the staff there, but many of them are good). If this is really your view of the world you need to seriously reconsider.

I started programming on Windows and still love the platform in many ways, I also love open source and will buy a phone equipped to run Google's Android platform simply because it is open, and I love Apple because they are masters of marketing and have probably taken the better route over Microsoft in the long term: catering to kids and college students, thus pushing their operating system and products further and further into society.

I want to know how you think Bill Gates has somehow saved Apple? As I recall, Bill Gates and his company screwed over Apple several times. If you think the agreement for Microsoft to bring Office to the Mac is somehow a savior to the company, you are sorely mistaken and should get a real grip on the history of either of these two Silicon Valley companies.

I'm also curious as to why you would even post comments such this on a blog. This only furthers my hatred of AT&T and makes me see your company more and more as a self-loving, fuck the customer kind of enterprise. For a district manager to post such things about one of your own products shows that you clearly could care less about your customers. If you really hate the iPhone and its price plans so much then why not do something about it or at least quit in protest?

I think your just too scared to do any of these things but would rather hide and protect your ass by commenting on a blog.

Rick is not a district Manager from Florida.
He is not employed By AT&T, except maybe as a low level employee in a retail store.
He is A Troll. And not a very good one.
Just ignore his douchebaggery.

Logic will never sway the irrational, and facts will never correct the vision of the myopic.

Brandon, I have yet to meet an iphone owner that could knock Ashley out, much less myself.
You seriously contend that value for price, call quality, and data access speeds have no bearing on your phone of choice????? Congratulations you deserve an iphone.

A decent touch screen phone before the iphone? The 8125, thank you very much. You probably just remember the lousy Treo's cause they were Mac compatible. Yet I'd still carry a Treo before an iphone.

I truly wish Verizon had outbid Cingular for the iphone (don't even argue, we were still Cingular) because I have encountered an extremely frustrating parade of pompous, popped collar, driving mommy's BMW fanboys ever since. You ask why I group all Apple fans together Brandon, yet you yourself said "I'll be honest that I hate the majority of people who come in the Apple Store and a majority of the staff there, but many of them are good" HUH? You hate the majority ( I concur) Many are good? Many of whats left after you throw away the majority.....like 5 percent? I agree, maybe 5 percent of Apple fans are good.

And yes, I hate ATT as well, which is why I leave my position as vague as North Florida. As far as my protest....some of it is here, the rest is spoken in my stores (either by myself or one of my employees. Hi Ash :-)) vehemently discrediting both iphones.

I almost forgot.....Billy Gates saving Apple.......
I'm not talking about Office on the Mac, who gives a shit. I'm talking about Microsoft infusing 150 million bucks into Apple when Apple was in bankruptcy filing in 1997. Now who needs a history lesson? Check it out http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/cyberspace/july-dec97/apple_8-6.html

Let me first say that I find it even more deplorable that you would use your own employees to wage this trolling war. I find it so low that AT&T representatives would call their customers names and ridicule them like this that I have no respect for you as a person whatsoever. In no circumstance should you treat customers like this, anonymously or not.

Secondly, the 150 million that Microsoft used to "save Apple" cane at a time when the company was valued at around 7 billion. Sounds like a drop in the bucket investment to me.

I'll address more some time tomorrow.

You aren't my customer. No one here will ever be my customer. You haven't walked through any of my doors. Ashley found this blog on her own and commented on her own. Our customers get this information in a face to face real encounter that this text cant duplicate. If you want to meet face to face, I'm sure we could figure that out sport.

Read the article again, Apple was out of capital.....flat broke. Yes they may have had a 7 billion dollar house, but what happens when you cant pay the mortgage payment? Ashley was right. You act like you are so damn smart, meanwhile you don't know a damn thing about anything!

I'm not even going to argue any further. Just look at the Income reports from Apple Computer Inc. during this period and you will clearly see that Apple is taking in far more money from other sources than Microsoft's meager $150 Million dollar investment.

First Quarter 1997: http://sec.edgar-online.com/1997/05/12/00/0000320193-97-000011/Section2....
Second Quarter 1997: http://sec.edgar-online.com/1997/08/11/17/0000320193-97-000014/Section2....

If you really want to understand, this post does a fairly good job of explaining Microsoft's situation and why this investment is meaningless in real value:
http://www.roughlydrafted.com/RD/RDM.Tech.Q1.07/592FE887-5CA1-4F30-BD62-...

I am in no way saying that Microsoft is a big evil monopoly but want to dispel this myth that Microsoft's investment was a life saver for Apple. Rick clearly seems to be hot-headed about the issue and I'll let readers of this argument decide for themselves whose in the right but I just ask everyone to think about how they want to be treated by a representative of a company they are a customer of. Would like for an employee to call you a douche bag three times and try and team up on you with more employees? I know I'm not alone in saying that I don't and I for one will be reporting this conversation to everyone I can at AT&T and hoping that this crazy "District Manager" will be fired. If not for his terrible anger issues then for his clear misunderstanding and distaste of the hardware he sells and the partners his company works with.

Good luck to you Rick and I hope you can see why no customer should ever be treated the way you have treated me and all iPhone owners in your comments.

It's like a soap opera up in here. Do you guys have a life or is it all about the phones? I mean, 3:58am? Really?

Testicles................................. That is all.

Rick,
Impersonating an employee of any government, publicly, or privately owned company is a federal offense and could lead to federal prosecution.

Brandon,
Hacking and modifying your Iphone or any other phone with AT&T service puts you in confliction with your AT&T contract which may lead to an early termination of contract and service which will result in an early termination fee of up to $175 as well as a one year suspension from any AT&T services that you may currently subscribe to.

Iphone and other AT&T customers,
I apologize for any offensive comments that may have been put forth falsely on behalf of AT&T.
Any comments posted in non-sponsored forums and blogs by a person claiming to be in affiliation with AT&T or Apple should be disregarded. I assure you that none of our employees, to our knowledge, blog any negativity towards any AT&T or Apple products and/or customers. Sorry for any inconvenience or offense.
