Attention poking aficionados: AllFacebook notes Facebook has slightly altered your poking abilities. It used to be that anyone could poke anyone else, simply by searching for their name. Now, you must actually be friends with someone or be able to view their profile through a work or school network to poke them.
Why change poking policy? Perplexing. Perhaps, as Nick O'Neill points out, Zuckerberg and Co. want to focus on integrating existing friendships rather than having Facebook act as a pseudo-dating service.
