Today was the first day Starbucks offered free AT&T Wi-Fi at all its locations. The service is so popular, the authentication servers that grant access to the network are being swamped. It seems many users are being given "invalid username" errors, even with proper credentials. One blogger contacted Starbucks customer service, but didn't get an ETA for a fix. Whoops.

oops... Funny how capacity planning gets thrown for a loop once you give it away... reminds me of the old free IG (internet gratis) service in Brazil at the turn of the century. Opa !!!
