I'd like you to take a look at MobiLuck (www.mobiluck.com / m.mobiluck.com) which aims to put location at the heart of the service since it is this that really differentiates mobile from fixed social networking.
interesting.share a lot of the vision. however in my vie the pace for mobile SN will not be set in US but in Europe and Asia where mobile penetration is >100% with more smart usage.Big European moile cnt players need to be wattched out for. Zed one, for all. one more thing, among verticals, i would add aggregators like hellotxt that updates all your sn status at once.also via mobile.
