Verizon Wireless was one of the big winners in the U.S. Federal Communications Commission's 700MHz spectrum auction, with the carrier winning a large chunk of nationwide spectrum.
Verizon was the high bidder in the 22MHz C block of spectrum, the FCC announced Thursday.
