Financial terms of the deal will remain confidential, the companies said. Since Microsoft will have all trademark rights to the name, XBOX Technologies will change its name. </p> <p>Microsoft's Xbox, the software company's first entry in the lucrative home gaming market, is set to launch in North America on Nov. 8 with a price of $299. The company is betting heavily on the system's success and has pledged more than $500 million in marketing support for the launch. Microsoft faces heavy competition, however, from long-time console kings Sony and Nintendo of America.
