TheStandard.com on April 8, 2009:
Needs to realize that everyone they communicate with is not Computer Geek and furthermore has no desire WHATSOEVER to be so.

I, NOT A GEEK NOR WANABEE, just reviewed 1st issue and while so counted no less than 347 Acronyns.
Of 347 Acronyms I recognized ONE (1) only being CEO which is title of most whom stand in the Active
Bailout ongrowing line(S). I discussed this with a Newspaper Editor whom informed that Acronyms should ONLY BE USED IF the Acronym label is fully disclosed if pre-seeded in the same article by full text.
IE; Chief Executive Officer, CEO.
A simple reminder be, especially for the Geek World,................. "ACRONYMS SUCK"

Regards,

Windows 7 launched by December 1 '09?

Microsoft has yet to reveal when Windows 7 will go on sale since the company unveiled the beta version at the Consumer Electronic Show. Windows 7 watchers have speculated that the launch date could be anywhere from as early as July '09 to as late as March 2010.

The '09 holiday season would be a reasonable estimate for the availability of Microsoft's latest PC operating system.

Prediction: Microsoft will sell Windows 7 by December 1, 2009. An official announcement from Microsoft will be used to judge this prediction.
