Not overly aggressive. Lots of positive news coming out ....
1) Housing starts shows increase
2) Signs of credit thawing
3) Global equity market is stabilizing
4) DJIA 6500 support was tested and held
5) DJIA now above 7000 support
6) 10 day moving average intersects 20 day moving average (positive signal)
etc etc
and finally, US Economy Is Finally Showing Signs of a Recovery

Judgment made on March 20, 2009: Spring has arrived, but the Dow has yet to blossom. The Dow didn't come close to reaching 8000, closing at 7,278.38 on March 20. The community overwhelmingly got this prediction right.

Fears that the Dow Jones Industrial Average will fall below 7000 for the first time since April 1997 are overrated. This hangover's got to end, and investor confidence will return.

Prediction: The Dow will climb to 8000 or above by March 20, 2009. Adjusted closing dates will be used to judge this prediction.
