Original prediction: Web impresario Michael Arrington is taking the month of February off from blogging. He blames all the haters.

He claims that being "the top blog" led to death threats and an international spitting incident. The Wall Street Journal reports that Arrington "hasn’t decided his future with TechCrunch or whether he will return come March or not."

Prediction: Michael Arrington returns to TechCrunch by the end of the first week of March. Arrington must submit a blog post to receive a favorable judgment.
