@David, I still can't figure this one out, frankly, although I'm sure it's completely unrelated to the recent announcement of job cuts at Adobe, which the TC article implies. Makes no sense to me. Even if their marketing budget got slashed deeply, MacWorld is a very high-profile event, regardless. Maybe they felt CS4, which only recently launched, will be "old" by January. ??

Looks like MacWorld 2009 might a tad too early given that Adobe has just restructured its organization to focus on ARM optimization (biggest Apple hangup on Flash as a CPU hog).

Judgment on January 6, 2008: This announcement was (frustratingly, but not surprisingly) not made during the 2009 SF keynote, which the community correctly predicted. -- The Industry Standard

Original prediction:

When Apple's iPhone first launched, one of the major complaints was the lack of Flash support.

Adobe has confirmed that it is working on Adobe Flash support for the iPhone.

PREDICTION: Adobe Flash support on iPhone becomes available by MacWorld Expo 2009. The update will be available for download by the day of the keynote (or earlier, whichever comes first).
