wow, seems like so many people want to bump up the pixels of the camera...
strange cause the resolution is what you are looking for not the number of
pixels. Im a photographer, and resolution makes the difference. I agree a flash
would help a lot. Maybe a better lens but then again, its a phone with a bonus
camera. I still think the LG viewty was a great phone. Apple has great products
and has never let me down. Im still waiting to get an iphone but will wait to see whats
out this year 2009. a side from functionality, the iphone is sleek and slim and practical
for what a person should need. Remember when we had phones that could only display
phone numbers ? If you dont like the iphone then get a blackberry and stop bickering
about what is useless and instead - celebrate technology today. I personally support mac and the
vision of steve jobs without him we would be stuck with pc's that freeze and hardware that
doesnt work or takes hours to install. Keep it simple, think less and do more. Thanks mac.

I was originally squeamish about the iP 3G, cuz the original did not support biz email, but I drank the koolaid on the 3G 4 work. Yeah, the cam is useless; & steve should B shot 4 no cut'n'paste (June 2009), kindergarten bluetooth, or voice dial (but a f*#&$@g nano talks 2 U?!), & kindergarten text flexibility, HOWEVER, email, weather, map, calendar & app store actually make my daily life easier & IT useful as much more than a phone, something my verizon razr could never touch. I use all free apps, of which many are genuinely useful. Between the 32GB and software update in June 2009, I'm IN, & may leave primeco--oops, I mean verizon, after over a decade.

It is really fanny to read about how bad iPhone is. I had iPhone 16 GB for last 6 month and it is best phone ever. It is better than any other phone on a market: BlackBerry, Nokia or SonyEricson. Every body have to except that there are no universal devise. If you need a good camera buy a Nikon or Canon DSLR if you need storage buy a hard drive, if you need camcorder go check sony... May be some phones better in some ways, but over all it is the best phone ever and it's working. If you don't like Apple it is your problem.

Judgment made on January 27, 2009: No 32GB iPhone 3G announced yet. The community has correctly judged this prediction. -- The Industry Standard.

Original prediction: The recent launch of iPhone 3G on July 11, 2008, left some wanting more. Specifically, after the dust settled, many remembered that they had hoped for Apple CEO Steve Jobs to pull a 32GB 3G iPhone out of his sleeve, or his pocket.

It is technically possible to bump up the storage to 32GB as evident by the new 32GB flash drive iPod touch. Pricing for NAND flash memory has been on the decline for some time. As a result, some could argue that the likelihood of a 32GB iPhone 3G is eminent. The question now is, "When?"

There are reports that Apple has secured a majority portion of the productions from Samsung. Meanwhile some rumors have surfaced whispering November might be the magic moment.

Prediction: Will Apple announce a 32GB iPhone 3G model by the end of January 2009? No 32GB iPhone 3G needs to be available for purchase for favorable judgement.

Let the community decide.
