Due to a reporting error and misinformation from a source, the story "Microsoft Dreamspark offers software to students," posted on Tuesday, contained a misspelled name for the organization using Microsoft's software and incorrectly referred to the types of programs used. It also contained a misspelled last name for the source.

In the seventh paragraph, the name of the organization should be spelled "Aiesec." Also, Microsoft's Office and Exchange programs are not part of DreamSpark.

One major benefactor of DreamSpark is Aiesec, an international exchange student program. Its 28,000 students will use the company's software to help run the organization's 1,100 offices in 100 countries, said Michelle Gallant, vice president of communications.
