2008 saw the rebirth of The Industry Standard, and with that the launch of the first annual TIS Innovation 100 Awards (TIS 100). Through a community driven nomination and voting process, The Standard celebrates 100 Web organizations that have innovated in their fields in pursuit of business goals.
The TIS 100 covers 10 different categories in which each category consists of 10 products. Within each category, the community voted for one "winner" to be honored above the rest. Sometimes this simply came down to a popularity contest. However, many smaller companies are represented as nominees, and some, we're happy to report, made it to the top. All 100 nominees are honored here by The Standard and our community that cast votes.
