Picnik is an online photo editor – completely Flash-based - that is remarkably prolific in its site support. Picnik can be used in several places your photos may exist, including Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, MySpace, Photobucket – or your computer.
Picnik sports popular photography editing tools like Unsharp Mask, Rotate, Crop, Resize, Exposure/Contrast, Saturation, and more. The tool can also assist in making collages, adding effects and using special brushes.
It’s not going to replace Photoshop any time soon, but for being a Flash app, Picnik is responsive, loads surprisingly quickly, and most importantly is available to anyone with an Internet connection.
There is a subscription service that provides access to additional features and support, hence a business model.
