Synthasite is an Ajax-driven browser-based drag-and-drop website and community creator. That’s a lot of hyphens, but the product also offers file management, templates, HTML snippets and hosting services.
Synthasite is not the only site creator in town, but it does the job well serving over 400,000 users.
Incidentally, Synthasite supports integraton with image editing tool Picnik, another 2008 TIS 100 winner (see the Graphics category).
