Myteam.com, one of just two players left in the amateur-sports Web site community, has signed four major brands to marketing deals, netting about $1 million in the process, the company said Thursday.

Dunkin' Donuts, Honda, Coke's Powerade isotonic-drink brand and Lego have signed deals with Boston-based Myteam, giving them access to the company's database of hundred of thousands of amateur-league coaches.

The companies will use their new rights to run local marketing programs with Myteam's database of coaches, which includes Little League Baseball, AAU, the Amateur Softball Association and a consortium of state soccer associations.

Because paperwork - registration, scheduling and record keeping - are among the biggest chores in amateur-league sports, Internet entrepreneurs quickly tried to stake out a piece of the action.

However, the past year has seen massive fallout. Early arrivers such as Mysportsguru, Street Zebra, Eteamz and EO Sports were either acquired or went belly-up.

The lone competitors of any size left are Myteam and Active.com. Each has raised about $50 million in financing.
