So what does ExciteAtHome want? Simply put, it wants the government out - at least until 2002 when ExciteAtHome's exclusive contracts expire. "In our business model, I never expected exclusivity to last beyond 2002," says Medin. "At that point we'll be mature enough to renegotiate or move on."
