While Napster has said that it would unveil a new membership-based service this year, which would compensate copyright holders, it has yet to announce any details. CEO Hank Barry said he would continue to press his legal case forward so that the courts won't brand Napster users as copyright infringes. "We are fighting for this principle," he said at Monday's press conference.
